The poster acts as a platform delivering the algorithmic code: [THE IDEOLOGY OF CONSUMERISM HAS OUTLIVED ITS PURPOSE] O K L Y N believes that in order to move culturally, intellectually, and psychologically a war must be declared to prevent any further corporate expansion and control of youth’s time, financial resources and cultural definitions. The POPPIES image is purposely obvious: The products [sneakers, games, movies] are as addictive as any opiate. The brands are cartels and the designers are acting as dealers O K L Y N supports the ideology of liberal democracy. O K L Y N supports the ideology of capitalism. We oppose transforming the goods and services directed towards the world’s youth as forms of addictive behavior and especially blunt force cultural control As stated on the poster: THE TRUE DESIGNER IS AN AMAZING LUMINOUS FOUNTAIN. Youth is a mystical process for each individual not to be programmed by massive data farming and surveillance organizations. POPPIES uses the image of addiction to make people aware that they are addicted.
